Hmm, now what would my old pal, Mr Petrie say about this image? Maybe something like, ‘Now we’re letting Polish immigrants roam freely around our markets, stealing our records? What is the world coming to?’

I live surrounded by the first Polish settlers in Canada - more correctly they are Kashuby. They came here over 150 years ago to a very hard part of the country to help open up the area in preparation of the need to have a route between the capital, Ottawa, and Toronto, for the army - to help us protect ourselves from the Americans. We drove the American invaders out in 1812, and expected to likely have to do so again. The Kashuby are good people and I appreciate many of them. Like any body of people, some are jerks - like you Eirtep (Kam) Judging from the Google search I did on the name you're using you are the only one in the world. How exclusive can a guy get. And how do you know they're Polish - they aren't labled?

When I see a person wearing a turban I wonder if they are Moslem, Hindu, Sikh, or somehting else, since it is worn by many different peoples. There is a Sikh leader woman in Ottawa who wears one. And yes, just like my fellow Irish, Scottixh and English bloods some of each group may be killers. You may know that quite a few years ago a Canadian Sikh group was respnsible for bombing a plane load of people that crashed in England. And we've had Moslems busted in Toronto for plotting to bomb Jewish temples. In fact, not 10 miles from us is a Moslem group who harboured those maniacs. You demonstrate a great ignorance of general truth and what I am. I can only assume, therefore, that you are a dangersous person. Perhaps I shall report this activity to our inteligence service (CSIS and MI5).

It's been a long time since I had the pleasure of listening to Burl Ives.

Hugh, what does that “(Kam)” in your comment means?
I’m not scared to leave comments in my own Blog using my own name. I’ve already told you a few times that I don’t like your views and arguments before so there is no need for me to suddenly change my identity.

I’m really sick and tired of your comments and arguments with other people here. I hope you finish this soon or I have to get rid of the comment thing all together. These comments do not help me improve my photography and do not teach me anything.

PS,
I don’t have time to copy and paste all your inappropriate comments but Just to give you an example. This is your comment on Stevo and DSEP photograph (2 young boys POSING in front on the camera):

“Well you must have had some communication with them to believe they are "cool guys". They allmost look suspicious. Arms crossed looking a bit defensive.
Off the top it's too much like a friendly snap shot. It leaves the question - why? Just for the record of the 2 cool dudes you met?
The red doo dad on the right puzzles me and the whole thing asks the question - Where am I?”

Did it cross your mind that those 2 kids might read your comments too?
You have upset many people on my blog and a few of them have left comments for you in reply. For example Rich left this reply to you for your above comment:

“Welcome to my world Hugh. Every time I read one of these absurd comments of yours, I wonder ‘Where is he?’ or more to the point, ‘Exactly which planet does Hugh come from?’
‘They almost look suspicious. Arms crossed looking a bit defensive.’ WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT?
Great picture Kamyar. Shame about the comment-obsessed oddity. What is with him? It’s like he has taken a vow to leave an incredibly ridiculous comments on here every single day. I guess it’s funny in a way. But I just wanted to say that there are others (like me and some friends of mine) who enjoy looking at your pictures regularly but do not feel compelled to leave nonsensical comments on here every day.”

I did not change my name to Rich either just in case you are wandering. So Eirtep Hguh’s (or who ever he is) comment is not that surprising.

You really love threatening me with saying that you will report me to MI5 and all that don’t you? Because I am Iranian you think every time something happens that you don’t like, you can scare me by threatening to report me to the authorities. I don’t know if you really are someone who would do a thing like that or not but to me just saying something like that is like you are trying to blackmail me. You are saying shut up or I’ll ruin your life. You thought I was a terrorist before when you couldn’t work out how to leave a comment on this blog. Now you think I’m a terrorist or some kind of dangerous person just because someone on this blog has said something to you that you did not like. I don’t really know what to say or do. It’s hard trying to live a quiet and peaceful life as an Iranian in this day and age but I had never imagined that opening a photoblog would result in me getting threatened to be reported to MI5.

Sorry Kam. I've never meant to be insulting to you or your viewers. My comments are honest appraisals of what I see or how I react.

At least you have finally reacted by posting this note. This phony Eirtep Hguh (how would you pronounce that were it real?) has posted his comments and with no other reference - such as a web site which might have an email address such as mine - it appears fraudulent as a name. Granted, I've seen some rather oddly spelled Turkish and other names like it. I began to think that it was you using the reverse name for humourous or whatever reason. My own name is held by many, including one who drowned in a well years ago . I'm happy to know it's not you, and curious to have proof such a name is real. You've seen my note on name search. so?

Your choice of reference to my comments as absurd or out of place strike me as funny, for arms crossed have long been considered a defensive position - thus my comment. If the subjects see it they might learn something. I wrote only of how it appears - not of how it might actually be - a huge problem in communication via image.

Images are doubtless intended to do many things and one of them is to elicit emotional response. That is what I have to say. If you learrn nothing from it that's your problem, not mine.

This phony Eirtep did not annoy me as much as make me laugh at my own error - an error noted by another as not unusual for they fell into it as well.

If all your looking for is artistic improvement comment you should take your pictures to a professional group of image makers and listen to private comment.

I'm truly sorry to have caused you pain and I would find it hard, on the basis of what I've seen on the site, to really think of you as "terrorist". Your a worker with an artistic soul.

But this conflict makes it easy to see why the world is blowing up.

I suppose posting your comments here is usefull in advising other viewers, though you do have my email address as the site holder.
I shall avoid your site henceforth. There are too many excellent ones to waste my time where ignorance is preferred.

Goodbye!

FINALLY!
Eirtep Hguh | March 13, 2007 9:34PM
Oh god I really didn’t mean for all this craziness to happen. I’m sorry Kamyar.
Huw | March 14, 2007 12:07PM
Keep with the excellent pictures, Kaymar. Please note that I am a Huw, not a Hugh!
